Kevin Flynn was a world-renowned video game designer for the EnCom Corporation who, from 1980 to 1985, built the company into the world's largest software manufacturer through arcade games like the beloved Space Paranoids and Tron. In 1985, after being divorced from his wife, Flynn announced his retirement from EnCom to create "a digital frontier that will reshape the human condition." But this new frontier apparently never came to pass, as Flynn vanished mysteriously in 1989 without a trace.
