- (November 12th, 1979) Walter Gibbs cedes control of his company to Ed Dillinger, a man whose close ties with policy makers and government dignitaries would be essential in expanding Encom's scope and influence on the world stage.Gibbs stays on and leads Encom's Research and Development division.
- (January 30th, 1980) Encom completes a prototype of TRON, a self-monitoring security network. the technology is so ground breaking that it inspires a popular video game(released by Encom three years later).
- (August, 1981) "Space Paranoids" becomes the top-selling arcade game in America.
- (July 9th, 1982) Former Encom employee and programming whiz kid Kevin Flynn is rehired.His new title is Senior Vice President of Creative Development.
- (February 18th, 1983) Dillinger steps down as CEO of Encom after a lengthy negotiation with the board of directors.
- (March 12th, 1983) The boards votes were unanimously to appoint Kevin Flynn as the new CEO of Encom.Flynn's first executive decision is to name Alan Bradley his COO.
- (April 27th, 1983) Under the Lidership of Kevin Flynn, Encom enbarks on golden age of video gamming, starting with the release of "TRON." Within months, sales of "TRON" eclipse even those of "Space Paranoids," making it the most popular game of all time, even to this day.
- (October > December, 1985) Concurrent whith the release of Kevin Flynn's first novel, "The Digital Frontier," Encom surpasses all other computing firms to become the most lucrative software company in the world.
- (July 28th, 1989) Alan Bradley agree to take over as interim CEO of Encom.
- (July 26th, 1989) Kevin Flynn abandons Encom, leaving a confused nation to ponder his whereabouts.
- (November 20th, 1990) After months of lagging sales, Encom annonces that Alan Bradley will relinquish his role as CEO. The board's president, Kurt Harlington, will take over as Encom's new CEO.
- (May 20th, 1994) In the fledgling days of the internet, Encom releases its first web browser. Upon news of the company's new direction, stocks soar to new highs.
- (September 14th, 1999) Encom release Millennium Proofer, the standard by which all other Y2K preparation software would be judged.
- (August 23rd, 2004) In order to restoe confidence in the electoral process, Encom introduices various statistical protocols to help regulate electronic voting machines.
- (November 2nd, 2004) The aforementioned protocols are implemented during the U.S. presidential election.
- (July 22nd, 2007) Encom celebrates its 35th years of operations. We commemorate our jade annoversary by throwing several simultaneous galas around the world and vowing to continue our high level of productivity, communication, and excellence.

Newly-minted Executive Consultant Alan Bradley will introduce the latest addition to the Encom International product library on April 2 in San Francisco.
Software giant Encom ushered in the digital age with an unrivaled library of gaming titles. Now, Encom International circles the globe with advanced software systems that include communications, sports, entertainment, navigation, agricultural, health care, construction, weather, military and governmental applications on every continent.
Bradley began his career with Encom as a security systems engineer and rose through the ranks to be named CEO in the early 1990s. When he exited the executive suite, he took on a far greater role. His visionary research turned Encom into the industry leader in sustainable production and distribution methods -- methods which are now the best practices for technology companies around the world. "Whether the challenge is to establish communications in a national disaster, or keep kids engaged as they battle Recognizers, I love what I do. Encom will always be my home. "
